I am praying my best friend gets re-united with ALL his children! The Adversary, STOLE them from him and NOW it is time he gets them back!  Kevin ROCK Reiss, shares a lot of the same deficiencies, every other man, woman or child that ever walked the earth deal with! With ONE exception, Jesus Christ!! It has been ROCK's goal to follow JC's example and teachings in EVERY possible way. When a person chooses to live a principled life of obedience and then, through NO FAULT of his or her own has everything he or she has put every effort into falls a part the loss can be extremely traumatic(devastating) to all involved.

Kevin didn't just have his children stolen from him, his children, Nehemiah, Faith and Grace had their father violently ripped from their daily lives. We can never know the severity of the damage done to the victim's of such a theft. In TRUTH, ALL suffer Father, Mother and children! Admission or lack thereof, is NOT the issue!  The fall out resulting from decisions that lead to severing of relationships, in this way, will never be fully comprehended by those divorced at any level from the situation. To make matters worse, the involved government agencies deciding to vilify a good man, a godly man, and continued repeatedly to exact exorbitant amounts of child support from an individual who had just lost everything(Everything, that is except CHRIST) seems extremely and sacrificially CRUEL. For Kevin, Jesus Christ truly is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
 
How do I know this, my friendship with ROCK started in late in 1993, in fact I drove Kevin's then, wife Penny to the hospital when it was time for her give birth to little Grace. But, I to failed my friendship with ROCK & Penny, and couldn't be the friend KEVIN or Penny needed to help through the darkest period of their life, to that point. People are shared with us to bless and support us when we can't do it on our own. That Friendship, extended no less to the kids & Penny, and it would be very hard to express in writing the emotional turmoil it created in my own family.  Our children grew up together for crying out loud! We went to that same church! Share a lot of the same ideas, prayed together and shared goals and dreams. That in many ways knit us together closer than many blood relatives!

Had we understood completely, "the BLOOD" we did have in common, should have been a stronger element than anything else in our relationship. Laying blame, or "applying" responsibility to anyone else at this point in time is a useless expenditure of all our resources.

ROCK, still reals from that blow occasionally, and anyone that knows him has to admit that everything he does he does all out. So, being married to Penny, for ten years, was not, as far as ROCK was concerned, an exercise in futility. For the entire time I knew them as a couple the only thing that matter more to BOTH of them, than their marriage and children, was their Individual and corporate relationship to Jesus Christ!

Lest anyone insinuate otherwise, this piece was not solicited by any one in any way shape or form. Any accusation to the contrary I pray is accompanied by feelings of guilt born of the Holy Spirit leading to conviction and full repentance!

As I close, I wanna talk to Nehemiah, Faith and Grace, for a minute, just so you know who I am, its Scott, Greg and Cory's dad! Kim & I miss you all can't wait to see you again. I am very, very sorry I wasn't strong enough to help your Mom & Dad through the hard times. I'm sorry we bailed on everyone and weren't the friends you needed, what you were going through was tough enough, you should not have had to deal with the emotions of losing friends to, that wasn't anything Jesus Christ wants for any of us!!!  We miss you all very much, & we miss your Mom to, everything that has happened is under HIS BLOOD, and nothing can be done about the past.

Your father is GOOD MAN, regardless of what you may have heard or been told, he never abandoned you!  Honoring your Father and Mother goes beyond blind trust! It is difficult to absorb, but motives can be twisted, causing people to say things about people they have had "disagreements" with in the past. Disappointments and hurts, often cause people to say things about others they deep down really don't believe, and when the full force of that disappointment forces you to look at the results of you actions, and you have no recourse, but to accept responsibility or live in denial of your actions!

Many times the anger that comes out, is really despair, born of grief over the loss of truth, and everything that comes with it. Constantly internalizing and suppressing those emotions, turns those self-depreciating thoughts(and they are powerful) back on yourself! We aren't meant to deal with such powerful negative emotions, so we find another target!  How do I know this, your mother and father taught me! (I am eternally grateful to both of them for it!)  It's a normal, although unhealthy, human response to momentarily direct those emotions at yourself, because you feel you failed yourself and haven't forgiven yourself for letting yourself, and those you loved down by handling the matter, out from under the light of hope!  Loss of hope, will do that to the best of Saints!

Satan, LOVES to use that against us! Anyway, Greg, Cory Kim & I pray for you all often, and we just wanted you to know that your Daddy loves you more than you could ever understand! He left fully intending to come back sooner than he did, he just had to take care of himself, because he knew that if he wasn't right with himself, it would have a negative effect on you kids! He loves you, KNOW THAT, and find out for yourselves who your Daddy really is!!

Just know this, our hearts are wide open to re-establishing friendships towards EVERYONE! Yes, Penny, that means you too, we miss you, we think about you, you are NEVER far from our hearts!   I think I can confidently say, if my / our heart is open, Jesus' is that much more.

I probably didn't say that as well as I could, and Facebook, YOU asked what was on my mind, so I told you! All I ask now, is that you pray for Kevin, Penny Nehemiah, Faith and Grace to be healed as far as they can be!
