Pride SUCKS, I'm sorry, I refuse to get caught up in all the polite Christian-eze the BODY in America wants to lock us in to! War is HELL, and if pride is allowed to prevent you from doing for someone else so they can take "a Hill" for Jesus, then the first words are accurate! You have to ask yourself what of yourself are you willing to sacrifice, to give someone else the time it requires to something in the Spirit you have yet to be equipped to do?

We are in an Army, yet far to many Christian's seem to believe we are still in "RECEPTION"! For those of you not understanding, RECEPTION is where you go when you first get to Boot Camp, it there they issue uniforms, shots and haircuts! Not all of us are chosen to bearer another's Armor and fewer yet are prepared to do right after Salvation/Reception, but if you choose never to move beyond your Reception, wouldn't be unreasonable to expect to be given the most advancedweaponry available?

The position of Armor Bearer is one of servile honor, doubt that, look at Joshua, Caleb or better yet look to Christ! You see sometimes it is the Armor Bearer that is expected to make the ultimate sacrifice. Consider, In this conflict, death in battle is not eminent, which is a good a thing, because far to many that claim the name of Jesus aren't ready for the fight! To my shame, I speak this, far to long I let other do around me what GOD had given meauthority in Christ to do! I can't pass off responsibility, I failed the test, thank God for his mercy. Praise GOD, Jesus is the GOD of second chances.

I cannot begin to tell you how lost you are allowed to feel when you abandon the one whose Armor your responsible for, but that is no longer a concern.

Remember, Armor Bearer is not the only position you hold, in fact I am reminded of a line out the movie "We were Soldiers", "Teach your job to the man beside you, and above you in rank!" Perhaps, the Christ's Bride would be stronger if we believedourselves to be Army, HE has called us to be!
I, for one, will fail myself to success or die trying, because it is not MY honor I am concerned with, but the honour through my behaviors that I can bring to the CROSS!!
